"Self-realization is meant to ensure fulfilment for one’s own self. It is not reaching somewhere or getting at something external, like going to the peak of a mountain. The attainment is in dissolving the mind and intelligence, and getting into the very core of oneself. In other words, it is like multiplying everything with zero."

Quotations

As exposure to sensory objects distracts the mind with attraction and repulsion, spiritual wisdom and absorption into the Self fills the same mind with inspiration, strength and poise. With spiritual insight deepening, the power of sensory objects to generate kaama and krodha declines. The process works not by shunning sensory objects or interactions altogether, but by taking to them abstemiously and building simultaneously the subjective strength through introspection and dispassion. Here in lies the secret of spiritual saadhana.
