"It is not what you do that matters, but how you do it – with what attitude and aim. The spiritual effect that a seemingly spiritual activity brings, can also be had by the domestic pursuit, provided you preserve a spiritual attitude and dedication."

kārpaṇya-doshopahata-svabhāvaḥ pṛcchāmi tvāṃ dharma-sammūḍha-cetāḥ ।
yaccreyaḥ syān-niścitam brūhi tan-me śiṣyas-te'haṃ śādhi māṃ tvāṃ prapannam ।2.7

Overpowered by the defect of inner constriction,
I am deluded to know what is the path of ethical
conduct (dharma). Hence I beseech you to tell me
decisively what will fetch lasting good. I am your
disciple, instruct me, who have taken refuge under
you, the Teacher.

Note: Realizing his shortcoming, Arjuna confesses to
Krishna that he was deluded, and Krishna should instruct
him as a teacher would his faithful student. Thus the
whole dialogue from now on is between the Guru and the
shishya, none other.
