You know, we think of God in a very special term, in a very special manner. We think of days also in a very very different way. A particular day is Vaikuntha Ekadashi day - that means it is very holy. When that is something very holy, what about the other days? Unholy? Holiness and unholiness are ideas which relate to the multiple behaviour of man, multiple attitudes of man. We are bound with a divisional outlook – this is good and that is bad.
Now when you step into the ashram, the language and the ideal will be different. I want to see everything as holy. All days are equally holy. God is not particularly in only one place or in one form – he is everywhere and in all. So, just like we shave off our hair, not dress it this way or that way, we put off clothes of different colors and wear one uniform color – we must think uniformly of God, about holiness, about goodness, and the like.
Take the mind away from the limited thought about God. God is all … all … all formed. Don't think particularly about God; on the other hand think whatever you think to be God. If you start thinking particularly about God, in the very process you will find that a particular thought alone is God, and all other things become non-godly. Thus the non-God becomes more, and the God becomes less. This division is a delusion, it is a trap. At least from now on, you elevate yourself.
