Mere material prosperity cannot have the intrinsic strength to sustain a civilization for long. The inner invisible treasure of the mind, intelligence and heart alone makes a society really healthy and prosperous.
Only when the inner constituents remain strong and cohesive as an integral unit, you can employ the body well for loftier purposes. If the mind is unable to radiate benevolent thoughts and feelings, and the intelligence fails in its rational introspection to access the Knowledge Treasure, imparting right guidance to the mind, the whole bodily personality will fail in its role and crumble miserably.
