"The power to promote and reward, as also to demote and punish the individual and his fate in this world, lies within his mind, its thoughts and feelings. No external agency is necessary to bring this infallible fruition. As the growth and development of a seed, an embryo, or a cell designed and preserved by its own inner makeup, here too the causal forces for what one rightly deserves lurk within one’s own invisible bosom."

I need certain guidance on Diksha. I am completely ignorant about Diksha and its significance? But I do know that it must be taken so that this ocean of life can be crossed easily under the blessings of Guru. Kindly guide me with respect to its totality?

True Deeksha is a process of inner spiritual infusion by the Guru to the shishya. It is something that transpires in utter silence, in a room, with doors and windows closed.

It is a spiritual transfusion from the Soul of the Guru to the soul of the shishya. This will mark the beginning of true inner spiritual saadhana. Deeksha becomes necessary only when the seeker has the need for getting close association and guidance from one, who has realized the Truth.

In fact, the Guru represents the seeker’s own inmost Soul, as also the Invisible God.

Until such seeking germinates and grows strong, the normal devotion to the invisible Lord will be sufficient. But then, it becomes insufficient. And the Sadguru alone can fulfill the quest, need and pursuit. It is the inauguration of a lifelong intimate association, which will always be refreshing, invigorating and fulfilling.
