"Your mind has enormous hidden dimensions. Open yourselves completely to whatever reactions and emotions the world evokes from time to time. Accept them all without any reservation or resentment. By assimilating everything and all, your mind grows deeper, stabler and more enriched."

<  Verse 31
>

निमित्तानि च पश्यामि विपारीतानि केशव ।
न च श्रेयोऽनुपश्यामि हत्वा स्वजनमाहवे ।। १.३१ ।।

nimittani ca paśyāmi viparītāni keśava ।
na ca śreyo' nupaśyāmi hatvā svajanam āhave ।। 1.31 ।।

By killing relatives in this war I see no lasting
good. O Krishna, I do not aspire for victory,
nor do I wish for the kingdom or pleasures
thereafter.

Note: Thought deeply, Arjuna depicts how material
resources as well as one’s own body, mind and intelligence
are all hollow and how they fail one in crucial
circumstances. It should make any one wonder what then
is the real anchor in human life? Where to look for it?
