किरीटिनं गदिनं चक्रहस्त-
मिच्छामि त्वां द्रष्टुमहं तथैव ।
तेनैव रूपेण चतुर्भुजेन
सहस्रबाहो भव विश्वमूर्ते ।। ४४.४६ ।।

kirīṭinaṁ gadinaṁ cakra-hasta-
m-icchāmi tvāṁ draṣṭum-ahaṁ tathaiva |
tenaiva rūpeṇa catur-bhujena
sahasra-bāho bhava viśva-mūrte || 11.46 ||

Finally, unable to stand it anymore, Arjuna beseeches Krishna to revert to His more human and charming form – that of the beautiful, gentle, four-armed form of Vishnu, wielding mace, wheel, lotus and conch, about which he had heard so much. Another sudden turn of his mind!
