"Karmayoga does not mean ceaseless pursuit of karma. It truly consists in the Yoga orientation and discipline given to the buddhi and the mind. Constant preservation and application of Yogabuddhi while doing any work, alone makes one a Karmayogin."

To overcome his delusion, Arjuna had initially sought refuge under Krishna, calling Krishna as his Teacher and making himself a humble student. He now suddenly extends the scope. He beseeches Krishna that like a father his son, a friend his friend, a lover his beloved, Krishna should bear with all the excesses and shortcomings he might have inflicted on Krishna earlier by his wrong behaviour.
