It is pleasing to announce that the 14th Annual Sreemad Bhaagavata Tattva Sameeksha Satram will be held during the auspicious Margasheersha, from 18th December 2015 to 27th December 2015 in Paralikad Naimishaaranyam, the sacred precincts of Tacchanatthukavu Devi Temple Narayanashrama Tapovanam and Hind Navotthana Pratishtan will be jointly conducting the event.
Devotees from urban and rural areas would assemble daily in Naimishaaranyam from morning to evening, to listen to the expositions by various Scholars and Saints. Thousands of men and women fondly look forward to this 10-day Vijnaana Mahotsava, intended to imbue inner values and vision in the listeners.
Sreemad Bhaagavatam holds that Knowledge of the Supreme Truth is the only means to deliver human mind from the taapa-trayaas, the three-fold afflictions of the world. Distinct from the usual Sreemad Bhaagavata Saptaahams, the Tattva Sameeksha Satram aims to instill deeper wisdom, universal values and rational thinking through the profound thoughts of the great holy Text. The objective is being fulfilled to a greater degree every time.
In addition to the 5 lectures daily, Śreemad Bhāgavata pārāyaṇam (recital) will be conducted on all the ten days. Some English talks are also planned on 24th, 25th and 26th, especially for the participants coming from other States and abroad.
Vishnu Sahasranaama Saarvajaanika Yajna will be on the last day. It was 5154 years ago that Viṣṇu-sahasranāma was imparted to Yudhiṣṭhira by great grandfather Bheeshma. A chorus recitation of Viṣṇu-sahasranāma by 5154 school students is planned on 20th December at 9 a.m. to commemorate this historical fact. Last year, 1500 students participated in such a collective recitation.
Those who are unable to sit on the floor will also be able to participate in this mahotsava, with special facilities being made for sitting on the chair and performing archanā with akshata on plates distributed for the purpose.
With the intention of ensuring prosperity, unity, inner strength and welfare for one and all, thousands of people from India and abroad will assemble at Naimishaaranyam and collectively participate in Vishnu Sahasranaama archana and havan from 9 a.m. on 27th.
We earnestly wish that you participate in this most benedictory event – mentally, materially or otherwise – and gain lasting blessings. We request that you also inform your relatives, friends and well-wishers about the event, so that the holy endeavour will be further strengthened and extended.
