"Devotion is a means as well as its true end when it grows into a full treasure. When devotion becomes a treasure, you will need nothing more for inner fullness or affluence. As devotion grows, it will begin to free you of all desire, hatred and fear. It will relieve poverty, either by making you amply resourceful or by taking away from you the very feeling of poverty. Devotion also will remove your weakness, generating untold strength and confidence."

Republic Day was celebrated in CIRD, Jamshedpur by the students of the Cultural Heritage Class and devotees.

At 10 am Sri D.N. Pandey, a senior devotee of Poojya Swamiji , hoisted the National Flag on behalf of everyone present. The National Anthem was sung with great fervor by all. The children waved small replicas of the National Flag and sang patriotic songs with great enthusiasm. The sounds of ‘Hum hongey kaamyaab ekdin’ echoed in the atmosphere and brought tears to our eyes.

Sri D.N. Pandey spoke a few words to the children on this occasion. He told them that they were the inheritors of a very rich spiritual and cultural heritage and should always strive to preserve this.

Laddoos, samosas and toffees were served to everyone after the function.

Nearly one hundred people (including children of the CHC and workers of CIRD) participated in the celebration.
