Jan 21: Poojya Swamiji was invited by the Choolisery Mahā Vishnu Temple Committee in connection with the consecration of the Temple’s newly built Sanctum Santorum. In his benedictory address (anugraha prabhāshaṇam) Swamiji explained the importance and greatness of temple-worship and the necessity for conducting consecration ceremonies (naveekaraṇa) with due devotion and austerities. He added that during the consecration ritual, the focus is on the mind; divinity is invoked in the priest’s own heart and infused into the deity. More than 700 people assembled on this occasion.
