CIRD-NA (Centre for Inner Resources Development - North America takes great pleasure in announcing the presence of Swami Nirviseshananda Tirtha Ji in the Washington DC Metro Area between 16th May and 3rd June 2016. The program includes Upnishadic Classes, Discourses and Satsangs (Interactive Q & A). Swamiji would also be available for individual guidance upon request. Sunday Satsang (Spiritual Gathering) :
We meet every Sunday at 10:00 AM for about 90 minutes to conduct a satsang which includes a series of sessions designed to facilitate and support individual and collective spiritual growth:
- Pushpasamarpanam (Offering flowers in devotion) amidst chorus chanting of sublime Sanskrit shlokas
- Listening to Prabhata-rashmih which literally means 'morning rays' followed by discussion. As the name implies, these are sublime talks given by Swamiji early in the morning.
- Learning one or two slokas from the Bhagavad Geeta and reading commentary on it from Swamiji's book 'Essential concepts in Bhagavadgeeta'.
- Learning Verses for Instrospection sung in Ma Gurupriya's melodious voice. Click here to access the verses on the parent website.
- Concluding shlokas (chants) followed by a brief period of meditation.

Vishnu Sahasranaama Chanting :
We warmly invite you to the chorus Vishnu Sahasranaama Japa Yajna as announced by Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha during his visit to USA in October 2011. These sessions are held once per month on a rotation basis at homes of devotees. Click here to learn more.
