Ātmānubhūtih, verses written in Sanskrit, is a rendering of the whole inner voyage to locate and witness the supreme immortal Self.
A devotee of Swamiji once told him “Swamiji always quotes some śāstras. That is all what others have said. We would like to hear something as Swamiji’s own, in his words. Will you not write something to this effect?” Swamiji’s heart responded and the result was a set of verses in Malyalam, which were latrer rendered by Poojya Swamiji in Sanskrit.
Ātmā, Self, is the only Reality, to be known, discovered and realized. God, reality and the like are words denoting the Self alone. Self is the first and last in existence, experience and knowledge. To know this is the goal of all scriptures and scriptural compositions.
Ātmānubhūtih is a rendering of the whole inner voyage to locate and witness the supreme immortal Self.
