On 23rd January, Poojya Swamiji addressed the gathering at the Malliyoor Ganapathi Temple in Kottayam District, Kerala. The occasion was the 93rdBhaagavata Hamsa Jayanthi.
Speaking on Sreemad Bhaagavatam, Poojya Swamiji stressed that this Text is not just a bhakti grantha, but has significant focus on ethics and values for daily living. Poojya Swamiji discussed episodes pertaining to 3 boys in Sreemad Bhaagavatam whom Veda Vyasa presents – Dhruva, Prahlada and Shringi – to elaborate how the values in the Great Text enrich, empower and enlighten us, leading to fearless, joy and fulfilment.
The drive to Malliyoor took over 3 hours from the Ashram. Poojya Swamiji left the Ashram around 3:30 PM and returned well past 1:00 AM.
