Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha’s series of talks on Aatma tattwa Sameeksha has begun. Justice PN Raveendran inaugurated the programme. The lectures which will commence everyday at 6.30 pm and end at 7.45pm and will conclude on 1st February. Cochin Devaswom Board President M P Bhaskaran Nair presided. Justice Ravindran said that apart from people engaged in social activities, the common man too should strive to lead a virtuous life. Sri Therambil Ramakrishnan, MLA, welcomed the gathering. During the Aatma Tattva Sammeksha, the first chapter of Ashthavakra Samhita will be explained.
Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha said that the spiritual truths and values presented by Krishna to uplift Arjuna are more relevant in today’s strife laden world. Arjuna had became crestfallen when he witnessed those lined up before him in the enemy lines in Kurkshetra, even though he had come after thirteen years of preparations.
Realizing that no other dharmic values will be of relevance to Arjuna, Krishna presented the dharma of spiritual Truth as a final resort. Even today this is the ultimate remedy and inspiration for anyone anytime, anywhere.
The means to enrich the inner personality by improving the power of comprehension and instilling stability and presence of mind, is to contemplate on the subtle spiritual Truth of the Soul. If the superficial existence of people, arising from their ignorance about this Truth, is to be changed, parents and teachers in school should instill the practice of introspection (vichara) on spiritual truths in their wards right from their young age, Swamiji said.

The Aatma Tattwa Sameeksha series of lectures by Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha has commenced in Thrissur. The lectures are being held in the Sreemoolasthanam of the Vadakkunnathan Temple.
Swamiji was given a ceremonial reception at the Swaraj Round and led to the Sreemoolasthanam. High Court Judge PN Raveendran, inaugurated the function. M P Bhaskaran Nair presided. Therambil Ramakrishnan, MLA welcomed the audience.
In this modern world which is full of strife, the dharma of spiritual truths has greater relevance, opined Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha.
The exposition of spiritual Truths will be between 6.30pm and 7.45pm everyday until 1st February. On the concluding day yajna prsaada and moksha sadhana will be distributed.
